About Our Cookies
Are preservatives used?
No way, Colleen's Cookies does not use any preservatives. We use only the freshest, all natural ingredients available including fresh creamery butter in place of shortning or oil, fresh eggs, and pure vanilla. Only the best!
Food Allergies
We use and store nuts and peanut butter for some cookies. There is the possibility of nut oil or dust coming in contact with your order. If you or someone you love is highly allergic to nuts or other ingredients Colleen's Cookies DOES NOT recommend you purchase our cookies.
How do I store my cookies?
The cookies can be stored in a covered container at room temprature. Freezing or refrigerating the painted or photo cookies will cause the colors to become distorted; most of the non-iced Cookie Jar cookies can be frozen and eaten at a later date. Just pop them in the microwave for a few seconds or in a conventional oven at 300 for a few minutes, everyone loves a warm cookie.
How long will my cookies last?
Colleen's Cookies last 7-14 days and sometimes beyond. As with everything though, the quality of the product decreases with each passing day. In most cases, this is not an issue because Colleen's Cookies are eaten so quickly, only the crumbs are left!
